HEISS powered by SCHNELLDORFER

Longitudinal seam welding machines have long been part of our core business. In order to further expand and strengthen this division, SCHNELLDORFER MASCHINENBAU GmbH will take over the "longitudinal welding machine" model series from HEISS Maschinenbau GmbH located in Schwindegg, using the HEISS product portfolio from 01.09.2020.

HEISS Maschinenbau is a traditional owner-managed company with a worldwide customer base. Over 500 LSV type longitudinal seam welding systems are in use every day producing chimney pipes, pressure vessels and food containers which are used in the heating, ventilation, aerospace technology and many other industrial sectors. During the course of the year, HEISS will cease business activities following the management's decision to cease trading.

"Since the demands and quality of HEISS products match those of Schnelldorfer’s philosophy, we are adopting the LSV Type 283 (hydraulic version) and LSV Type 598 (pneumatic version) models in different lengths into our product range, “says Martin Feuchter, managing partner of SCHNELLDORFER”. We are now offering 'HEISS customers' service, spare parts and repairs to existing machines with the well-known SCHNELLDORFER quality. In the future, new machines will be produced by us under the 'SCHNELLDORFER & HEISS' label, “continued Mr Feuchter”.

The Managing Directors of the two companies, Mr Bernhard Heiss and Mr Martin Feuchter sealed the takeover by signing the contract on July 31, 2020.
